Nigeria's Mineral Resources

Nigeria is richly endowed with a variety of Natural Resources raging from precious metals to various stones reserved in commercial value. Most of these are yet to be exploited. Statistically, the level of exploitation of these minerals is very low in relation to the extent of deposits found in the country. One of the objectives of the new National Policy on Solid Minerals is to ensure the orderly development of the mineral resources of the country.

Presently, the national policy direction for the sector is to increase investment in exploration and exploitation with a bid to diversify the Nigerian economy and take deliberate steps to create a catalyst for industrialization. Opportunities available in the following mining titles categories:

* Reconnaissance Permit
* Exploration License
* Small Scale Mining Lease
* Mining Lease
* Quarry Lease
* Water Use Permit
