Non-citizen attendees who are traveling to Nigeria to attend the conference may need to obtain a temporary visa to enter the country.

IMICON encourages conference attendees who need to obtain visas to start the application process at least Two months before the event. If you are uncertain of the visa requirements for your country, you can find more information through your Nigerian embassy or consulate. Click here to find links to Nigerian embassiesconsulates and missions throughout the world.

Many countries require an official letter of invitation to apply for a non-immigrant visitor visa. To request such a letter from IMICON, please contact us at conference@imiconng.com. Please include the following information when sending your request:

  2. Organization (if applicable)
  3. Full address, including country and postal code
  4. Business Phone
  5. E-mail Address
  6. Passport Number
  7. Date of Birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
  8. Embassy or Consulate of Visa Application
  9. Relationship to Mining Industry

The following countries are Visa-Free entry to Nigeria:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Chad,  Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Togo, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Turks and Caicos islands, Iran, Maldives, Singapore, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
